Children's Department

Preschool Story Time is held every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. during the months of October through April. Please call the library at (920) 324-7925 for more information.

The Waupun Public Library has lots to offer children such as easy-reader books for the just-starting reader, information for the young researcher, toys and games to educate and keep young minds entertained. If you have anything you need or would just like to come visit, our Children's Librarian and staff are happy to help.

Reference Department

Finding information is what we do best at the Waupun Public Library, our Reference collection encompassing a broad spectrum of subjects. And if we don't have it, we can help find it for you by searching the Internet and looking for resources from Wisconsin's other fine libraries through the WISCAT database. If you need assistance, please feel free to give us a call at (920) 324-7925 or contact us by email.

Also, see the services our Reference department has to offer on the Services and Resources section.

Interlibrary Loan Department

The Waupun Public Library is directly connected with 53 other public and school libraries in Dodge, Jefferson, Racine, Walworth and Washington Counties in a consortium called SHARE. So, when you search our catalog, you will see materials owned by the Waupun Public Library, along with materials owned by libraries in those counties, and you are able to place direct holds on those materials and have them delivered to the Waupun Public Library.

If we don't have an item, and it is also not available through SHARE, we can get for you through Interlibrary Loan. To do this, we search the WISCAT database, which includes holdings for libraries across Wisconsin. You can search this catalog, but requesting must go through our Interlibrary Loan department. (Patron requesting may become available in the future.) You can place a request by calling us at (920) 324-7925 or e-mailing our Interlibrary Loan Librarian. Just select Interlibrary Loan in the subject box.
